family life and the roles women traditionally perform

Good Evening, I need your assistance answering the following questions, a least 75 words per answers. Thank You.

1- Chapter 15 offered an important highlight concerning family life and the roles women traditionally perform in addition to what is considered today's modern roles for woman. Interestingly enough, when women pursue work outside the home, there is still the "overwhelming burden" of managing the traditional roles in the home as well. So, despite working in the corporate world, for example, the need to perform the role of doing housework, cooking and, more importantly, caring for the children still fall upon the woman in most cases. Sociologist Arlie Hochschild uses the term 'second shift' to describe the responsibilities of a woman (and particularly a mother) who is climbing the corporate ladder. He also studied the psychological impact this has on marriages. The research is quite interesting. Has the feminist movement hurt women to some degree? Since the movement, does it now seem abnormal for women to want to stay home and 'work' at raising their children and not in the office? Does society tend to view the role of the profession called 'mom' as a setback to the Feminist Movement? 2- Up until 2013, women serving in the military were banned from certain combat roles. After much debate, slight changes were made. Should women serve in COMBAT roles traditionally held by men? https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/pentagon-to-move-expeditiously-to-lift-ban- on-women-in-combat-roles/2013/01/24/f9fd6244-665d-11e2-85f5-a8a9228e55e7_story.html? hpid=z3
