Family Observation Assignment
This assignment is based on qualitative methods requiring you to observe a family in a public setting for at least 1 hour and take field notes. It is important to conduct a family observation in a public setting; however, if you desire to have a private observation an IRB will need to be filed.
You are to write a 3-4 page essay (double-spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, and 1 inch margins, include a cover page and reference page). Attach all of your field notes to the summary.
Below is the Rubric Guidelines for the report and I am also attaching an example for you to follow as well. If you have any questions just let me know!
