stage of Erikson's theory TRUST vs. MISTRUST

answer the following questions
1. Class, in the first stage of Erikson's theory TRUST vs. MISTRUST, if that need goes unresolved, what do you suppose happens to that infant as they grow up? What are some possible consequences if an infant is unable to trust their primary care giver and/or surrounding environment? This is a crucial stage in childhood development. If we think about the human brain and belief systems, if we come into the world and the person(s) we are supposed to rely upon for safety, guidance, nurturance, food, shelter, water, etc is untrustworthy does this impact how we might view the world as adults? Use research to support your answers. Class, what is the psychodynamic theoretical model? How does it relate to the development of the field of abnormal psychology?
2.Class, what do you think about the idea of Nature vs. Nurture? Is it the human genes or the psychosocial environment that make us who were are today? The nature vs nurture discussion has been around for centuries. Personally, I do not think it is either nature or nurture that make us who we are but rather a combination of both. I think there are some things as humans that we are genetically predisposed too and other factors in environment that may shape us to become who we are. For example, we know that the mental disorder of Schizophrenia has a genetic component as does Cancer. However, are our personalities genetic? Or does that have to do with nurture?
