"Interracial Couple"

In the "Interracial Couple" article, Justice Keith Bardwell is quoted as saying the following: "I am not a racist." ... "I think those children suffer and I can't help put them through it." Comment on what the Justice is implying with his statements and explain how these statements can be seen as stereotyping. Is the Justice demonstrating authoritarian personality, simple prejudice, or a bit of both? Does he demonstrate a lack of education in this article or is there a stereotype that educated people aren't prejudiced or racist?
