Here are the instructions: Why do you think the "Honesty-Humility" factor did not show up in the original lexical factor analysis that produced the Big Five? Is this related to how American culture views these concepts? Why or why not?
The Wasti article points out that "modernism vs. traditionalism" was more important in defining the "Openness to Experience" factor in Turkish than in other languages, and speculates that this is because of the particular importance of that contrast in modern Turkish culture.
