BlueCube is a new company with the completely unique, original idea to allow users to rent DVDs on a price-per-day basis from a network of connected kiosks that are located at local businesses.  Nothing like this has ever been tried before!

Customers should be able to approach a BlueCube kiosk and view the DVDs that are available for checkout within the device.  Upon selecting one or more DVDs, the customer can swipe his/her credit card and the DVD(s) will be delivered from the kiosk.  The credit card will not be charged until the media is returned to a BlueCube kiosk.

 

Customers can also review titles and find kiosks from the BlueCube website.  In addition to finding movies and locations, customers can register for an account with the website and make a reservation for a particular title at a specific location.  A credit card will be associated with the account during the sign-up process, so the customer is identified by using their credit card at the kiosk.

Via their account, customers can see outstanding rentals, view a rental history, and save favorite kiosk locations.
