ENGL 135 WEEK 5 ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY COLLABORATION MEETING AND PROCESS REVIEW

This assignment builds off of work completed for the Week 4 Annotated Bibliography. This week, you will work in small groups to reflect on your research process and help develop ideas for further research for your course project.

You will be in a group of 3-5 people, based on your research paper topic theme. Using the master list of annotated bibliography entries from Week 4 Preview the documentView in a new window(posted in File Share), each group will complete the following steps:

  • Create an alphabetized list of resources that are relevant to assigned topic category (this may include sources from other topic categories, if they are relevant to supporting research).
  • Establish and use a document/file share platform to maintain a working document to which each member can contribute during the course of the week.
  • Collaborate a discuss findings via email, chat applications, and/or Cisco Spark for to discuss the resources and formulate plans for your next steps in your research and drafting process. You will need to provide a summary of your meeting.
  • Each student is responsible for submitting a document that includes (1) the final bibliography created by the team; and (2) a brief Process Review.

The Process Review should be 300-500 words in length (about two paragraphs) and answer the following questions:

  1. What role/responsibilities were assigned to you in creation of your topic's Annotated Bibliography?
  2. Did you complete all of these tasks/requirements?
  3. If not, what prevented you from doing so?
  4. Was the work evenly distributed amongst your group members?
  5. What worked well in this collaboration?
  6. What could have worked better?
  7. What could you do to improve your team's performance next time?
