TCP/IP protocol

This topic will look at the TCP/IP protocol suite as both a descriptive framework and as a series of networking applications. Let's begin by picking one of the four layers of the TCP/IP Model and comparing and contrasting it to its equivalent OSI Reference Model layer. Explain any "alignment problems". After we have covered that topic a bit, please move on to the individual protocols/applications in the suite. Pick just one and give a brief description of its role and function. Hint: There are more protocols in the TCP/IP suite than just "TCP" and "IP".
