Troubleshooting EIGRP and Configuring OSPF
- 1.Download and read Troubleshooting EIGRP and Configuring OSPF (Packet Tracer).docx,  attached file
- 2. Download, troubleshoot, and document your findings of the Troubleshooting EIGRP and OSPF Configuration.pkt.  attached file
- Note: Final pkt file should meet the given requirements (in document above). Please ensure to troubleshoot, document your findings, and fix the provided PKT file.  Deleting a device and adding a new one to "freshly" configure is not troubleshooting, I highly advise you to avoid it.
- HINTS: troubleshoot in "tiny steps" start from PC1 to R1....all good there, can you ping? Is addressing present? Is addressing appropriate? Â How about from PC2 to R2? Â How about the media used? is it appropriate? Â Then take a look at the routers, are the interfaces enabled? Â Is addressing good? Is addressing on the appropriate interfaces? Â Is media connected to appropriate and configured interfaces? Â Etc.
- 3. Submit a memo to with a detailed report of all your findings of bad configurations (or the lack of),
- discuss your troubleshooting steps (i.e. Â how did you figure out what was wrong? Did the sh run help you? Â Maybe a trace route? Â routing table? Â pinging?), Â
- Include a discussion of what you did to fix the network the issues encountered. A limit of 2 page (max) length memo is encouraged, but not required. Tables tend to be helpful in communicating so much information.  Screenshots may help, ensure to caption (Links to an external site.) them and add these as "attachments" and to refer to them within the text, as needed. Â
- 4.Save your fixed pkt file as EIGRP.pkt
- 5.Remove EIGRP configurations. Â This can be done by going into global config mode and typing no routing eigrp <AS>. Â Ensure to replace the <AS> with the appropriate one configured.
- 6.Verify that the EIGRP configurations are gone.
- 7.Configure OSPF.  Test for appropriate connectivity. NOTE 1:Please note that memo does not need to include discussion on the OSPF configurations.
- 8.Submit
