You are thinking of establishing an online business in UAE. Generate 3-5 ideas that attract you as a potential ideas. Your assignment is to assess these ideas and choose which one is more likely to be adapted by answering the following two questions

1.      By using the sketch pad (Fig. 1), answer questions (shown below) for each of your ideas.

2.       Determine which idea is the best by using critique pad shown in Fig. 2

Customer:

  1. Who is the user or beneficiary
  2. How does the user use the offering
  3. Who is the economic buyer or decision maker
  4. How many buyers are there?

Offering

  1. What type of offering envisioned? Commodity, good, service, or experience
  2. Name and describe it
  3. Sketch it or otherwise help people visualize it

Value Proposition

  1. Why is the offering important to the users
  2. Why is the offering important to the buyer?

Core Competency

  1. Do you have any core, differentiating competencies, such as a technology or science

People

  1. Who are the people involved in starting this venture
  2. What relevant experience do they bring to the table?
  3. What specific knowledge do they bring to the table?
