 During an abortion protest, a police officer orders Teresa and her friends from blocking the entrance of the abortion clinic.  Teresa and her friends refuse to leave and sit on the steps in front of the clinic's entrance.  The officer decides to place Teresa under arrest.  Please address the following questions.

 

1.  Is Teresa resisting arrest, if she remains "sitting" and refuses to move at all, forcing the officer to lift and carry her away from the demonstrations?

 

2.  Is Teresa resisting arrest, if she hooks her clothing or body around a stair railing in such a way that the officer has more difficulty in pulling her away?

 

3.  From observing her actions, Teresa is the obvious leader of the group.  Do you just arrest Teresa or do you also arrest all of her friends?  Please justify your answer.
