Automated Solar Panel adjusterSolar panels are mounted on a large rack. This rack needs to be rotated during the day to follow the sunand thus achieve a maximum charge. Although this could be done with less eFciency with a ±mer, it iso²en necessary to get maximum charge. This would also not move the panel if there were no sun as tonot waste power. This would be done by using 2 op±cal sensors. One would detect if it was a sunny day,and the other would detect how much sunlight was hi³ng the panels. If it was a sunny day and thesunlight hi³ng the panels had decreased by a certain percentage then the motor a´ached to the rackwould rotate the rack un±l the sunlight was suFciently increased. I was going to use a Na±onalInstrument MYRIO with a programmable ZYNQ µPGA as the controller. The motor would need to beisolated from the controller through the use of relay or op±cal isolator. This was just my idea I am veryopen to whatever you guys want to doParts required:NI MYRIO controller with ZYNQ µPGA2 op±cal sensorsActuator motor armIsolator relayPower interface with solar system for powering the controller
