my intro

The Innocence Project Organization perform a significant act in aiding innocent people who are imprisoned in an unfair way that goes against the spirit of United States Constitution due to lack of DNA application leading to the wrongful convictions. The organization was founded in 1992 by Peter Neufeld together with Barry Scheck in New York, Cardozo school of Law of Yeshila University (Innocence Project, 2017). The Innocence Project Organization played an important role in the case of Kirk Bloodsworth that begun in 1985 (Innocence Project, 2017). Bloodsworth was arrested for the rape and murder of Dawn Hamilton of nine years old in the wooded area. The jury took only three hours in their deliberation of the case and found him culpable and thus sentenced to death (Innocence Project, 2017). Bloodsworth was the first person to be sentence to death penalty be exonerated from DNA testing. After nine years in prison, I believe Bloodsworth is innocence due to, the defiance of no physical evidence, DNA results proved his innocence, and proof of his presence at the crime scene.

conclusion

Throughout years, innocent people are serving prison for not convicting the crime as a result of lack of evidence present in the court room and lack of professionalism. The Innocence Project Organization has help many people who are sentence to prison time or death penalty for an improper sentencing due to DNA testing. Kirk Bloodsworth is innocent for the crime he didn't do, the Maryland Board of Public gave $300,000 for the damaged and for being convicted, money don't buy freedom and time he spend. Kirk Bloodsworth is helping other people who are innocence and are in a cell because he knows how does it feel to be in prison for proof of physical evidences, DNA testing, and physical appearance at the crime scene. As Kirk Bloodsworth's case, there is a majority of people who are innocent and are punish for the wrong action from the judge and jurors.
