what is that supervisor's role in the management process?

Identify a conflict situation in one of the components of the criminal justice system (police, prosecutor, probation or corrections) and describe its various stages.  The situation that you choose can be a "real life" situation, or you can provide a hypothetical, based on a commonly inherent situation within the discipline.  At which stage do you think the conflict could be managed, and what is that supervisor's role in the management process?  Identify 3 conflict situations or circumstances beyond the control of the immediate supervisor and discuss why they cannot be dealt with effectively by management personnel in that component of the criminal justice system.
