You know that many of the daily reports you write could end up being used in court to help prove a defendant's guilt. Keeping in mind that you will be called as a lay witness to explain your investigation, writea narrative report describing a home invasion you responded to. Createa scenario of what happened and especially describe the emotions of the victims (an elderly couple) in a way that is free from misinterpretation by the jury and is difficult for the defense attorney to misconstrue during your cross examination.
