Organizational Justice

There are 3 characteristics of organizational justice. Identify and explain each one providing examples preferably from your own workplace (Bridgeport CT Police Dept.), if applicable. Then apply those characteristics to the concepts of collective bargaining, organizational socialization, and employee motivation by answering the following questions:

1.      Does collective bargaining help or hinder organizational justice?

2.      Is organizational justice necessary for organizational socialization to occur? Why or why not?

3.      Is employee motivation increased by organizational justice? If so, how? If not, why not?

Be sure to justify your responses with logic and evidence; and remember to integrate material from the textbook (Giblin, Matthew J. (2013) Organization and Management in the Criminal Justice System: A Text/Reader (SAGE Text/Reader Series in Criminology and Criminal Justice) 1st Edition. SAGE Publications, Inc ISBN: 978-1452219929.)

 Cite all sources using APA format.

 

Papers must be 6-9 pages long, double-spaced, and using 12-point font and default margins. All sources must be appropriately cited; and appendices, such as a works cited page, will not count toward paper length. Facilitators have been instructed to read only 9 pages of narrative.
