For this assignment, I chose to read the article: The reality of making it to the top in private equity and hedge funds, as a woman, written by Paul Clarke, published on efinancialcareer.com. This article was written to be directed to women in the accounting field interested in making it to the top. The focal purpose of this piece is to inform people of the difficulty in becoming superior as a woman in this field. In this article the writer discusses how women are minority and men are more likely to make more money and find the jobs, unless women prove themselves worthy of senior position. The writer spoke about an interview that was conducted and published in the book, “Women of the Street”. Meredith A. Jones, author of the book, gave a few lessons to other women who want to be where she is at today
