Imagine you are the Director of Security for a large retail store chain. The Area Manager called you in and explained that the store was experiencing a high volume of thefts. He did not know how the thefts were taking place, only that your store was the highest in terms of thefts than another store. The Area Manager advised you in no uncertain terms that you had 60 days to identify how the thefts were taking place, who was responsible, and what you were going to do about it. How would you handle this situation?
