"Funes the Memorious

Based on the short story "Funes the Memorious" by Borges, please answer the following question:

If you suddenly had the memory and perception of Funes, would your life become better or worse? Why? Consider how Funes's life in the story is affected, but also consider your own personality and circumstances (you may not necessarily do what Funes does, after all).

Answer the question directly. If you somehow wish to say your life is both better and worse, be clear about what you mean exactly (don't be vague or wishy washy).

Based on that answer, provide two main premises for why you feel as you do. Your premises should consider the story but also use your own hypothetical examples as support (a hypothetical example is one that did not actually but COULD happen, given the context of the discussion).

Then, based on your answer and reasons, infer: If you had the chance to have Funes's memory and perception, would you take it? That inference should flow smoothly and naturally from your answer, so it will probably need little to no explanation.

Your answer should be at least twelve complete sentences total.
