Establish a hypothesis about the relationship between family structure (single vs. two-parent household) and juvenile delinquency (high or low) and between family structure and juveniles living in poverty (high or low) at the group level. 

Open the SPSS data file Juveniles.sav found in the Data Set folder under Course Information. Report in a 1- to 2-page paper the following: 

  • Units of analysis in this data file.
  • Number of variables (excluding the unit of analysis).
  • How are the variables measured (quantitatively or qualitatively)?

  • Report the patterns you observe in the table. Do the findings support your hypothesis? Explain and discuss.
