Analyse the criminal liability of Gary and Giorgio.

After snorting half a gram of cocaine each, Gary and Giorgio decide to go out and see if there is anyone on the street that they can rob and bash. Giorgio is experienced in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Gary is armed with a flick knife, which he usually carries in his back pocket. They spot a man walking towards them – Gavin. Giorgio runs after him, then starts kicking and hitting Gavin. Gary soon realises that Gavin is his old mate from high school, and yells at Giorgio to stop. Giorgio, however, continues to kick Gavin, who is now lying face down on the ground. Gary pulls out his flick knife, holds it close to Giorgio’s neck, and says ‘Listen mate. Enough is enough.’
