THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PATROL/POLICING
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PATROL/POLICING
One of the roles of patrol officers is to PREVENT crimes - not just respond to calls. Within the criminal justice system as a whole, there are certain programs or methods that impact crime more than others, and even some programs that we historically have supported but actually are neutral in making any impact or actually, instead, INCREASE crime.Â
