Prosecutors often work closely with police departments to bring indictments and convictions in criminal proceedings, but what happens when a case involves an officer who is implicated in a crime or are involved in a shooting?  

Last year, there were a number of controversial officer involved incidents that resulted in death, but few resulted in officers being charged.  

  1. 1. Do you believe officer involved shootings should be reviewed by the same attorneys who they work alongside?  
  2. 2. What ethical dilemmas might arise due to these relationships?
