I'm sure you are all working diligently on your Final Paper so I'm only posting one Discussion question this week. Given your readings from last week and our subsequent discussions, I want you to watch this video (https://news.vice.com/video/murder-mayhem-and-meditation-full-length) and give me your thoughts. I want a SUBSTANTIVE response (i.e. not just 2 sentences saying that you agreed with the video's content). Did you agree with the way SVSP is addressing inmate violence and rehabilitation? Is this just smoke and mirrors and inmate rehabilitation is just a pipe dream? As one of the final steps in the criminal justice process, what could SVSP do differently to better prepare their inmates for a return to society?
