In “The Death Penalty is Too Costly for Society,” the author Dieter (2015), argues that death penalty is an important process for the defendants to go through but the cost of the death penalty is very high and increasing rapidly. As indicated by Stearns (2016) we as a nation have to follow the laws stated in the United States. The death penalty has been employ in the United States throughout history and as today we have accept. The supreme court has demonstrated that death penalty does not violates the 8th amendment as cruel and unusual punishment.In ddition the 8th amendment does not mentions the procedure how the jury may use the death penalty and how it  must be carry out shows by  the 14th amendment due process clause. Death penalty known as capital punishment is not expensive technique to use for murder and other capital crimes .
