Organizational socialization will occur differently for each individual based upon the type of criminal justice agency he or she is are part of, as well as the types of socialization to which they are exposed. While there are different ways in which an individual that is new to an organization may be socialized to a criminal justice agency, the views of those that are in roles of influence can have a significant impact, especially during the early phases of an individual's career.

 

In 650 words identify a specific segment of criminal justice (e.g., law enforcement, courts, corrections) and an entry level role within that type of agency and  Compare and contrast at least three different types of individuals that might have a role in socializing a newly hired individual to the organization. Explain what makes these individuals key influences in the forming of a newly hired person's organizational socialization.
