1.  There is a wide Variety of "tools" that an officer can carry on their gun-belt.  As Chief of Police, what less than lethal weapons would you have them carry.  Pick two weapons you would require them to carry and two that you would forbid.  Explain why you would require your specific weapons and why you chose to forbid the two that you picked.

2.  Many agencies have modified their pursuit policies over the last few years.  Some have made them pretty strict, limiting car chases to Confirmed Violent Felonies only.  Others have opened them up to give the officers more discretion, since they are on the scene and have the best vantage point.  There has to be a balance between doing your required duty (catching the offender) and public safety.  What regulations would you place on your officers and under what circumstances would you authorize them to engage in a car pursuit?  Explain how you came to your decision and how you would implement your policy.
