Introduction

Thesis:

Although criminals are somehow aware of the consequences of their activities, what are the events or an incidence that outweighs the consequences and forces them to choose this line?

 

A.    Crime is a choice made by the people to fulfil their daily needs through unlawful activities.

B.    Why individuals commit crime and the use of psychodynamic theory to characterize the life of a terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

C.    The forces and the events that changed Laden’s life and moulded him to become criminal.

Early life of Osama Bin Laden:

 

A.    Being born in a billionaire Saudi Arab family, he grew up as a Sunni muslim and went to the college of King Abdulaziz university.

B.    Osama is a founder of radical jihad organization Al Qaeda and was the main planner of the attacks of World trade centre.

C.    During 1979 when Afghanistan was invaded by Soviet Union, Osama joined Afghan freedom fighters.

 

The psychodynamic theory:

A.    Siegel, Brown, & Hoffman (2013) explained Freud’s thought “id seeks instant gratification without the concern for the rights of others” (Siegel, Brown, & Hoffman, 2013, p.102).

B.    The theory depicts that we all have remainders of our childhood attachments which improvises our future behaviours.

C.    The theory assumes unconscious mind, anxiety and mood disorders and hallucinations about our childhood experiences.
