Write a reflective paper on complex trauma, grit, growth mindset, and post-traumatic growth in a time of societal violence in schools. Write a reflective paper concerning complex trauma that occurs in the wake of the multiple high school shootings of late. Be sure to address the following:
·        Determine the physical and psychological impacts of stress.
·        Explain resilience, GRIT, and having a growth mindset. Indicate the benefits of each, providing examples to support your findings.
·        Identify strategies to effectively cope with the violence in schools, the anxiety that stems from the practice drills, and how post-traumatic growth and a growth mindset may offset some of the stress and create empowerment for young people having to deal with these realities. This empowerment movement is evident in the grassroots movements that emerged in the aftermath of the Parkland, Florida shooting.
·        How concepts such as PERMA and prospection in positive psychology are demonstrated in future plans for society.
·        Provide some examples drawn from the headlines.
