Part 1- Review three evidence-based resiliency programs that include a variety of exercises for participants.
Part 2- Perform the exercise below.
Part 3- Write a reflection paper or make an audio recording after visualizing your “best possible self” two days during the week. Pick a day at the start of the week, and then another day at the end of the week. This exercise has been adapted from Sheldon and Lyubomirsky, 2006. You can choose to draw a picture of your best self or write about it.
This exercise is more effective when you are specific. Imagine the future in detail, a new job, new home, where you want to live. The more specific you are, the more engaged you will be in identifying your strengths and enhancing resilience.
Length: 3 to 4 pages
Resources: Cite the 3 evidence-based resiliency programs you reviewed.
Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards where appropriate. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.
