The Middle East has been the subject of numerous wars, civil conflicts, and Western foreign invasions, operations, occupations, and extremist reactions, in countries like Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. 

        At the end of Chapter 9 in your text book on page 164 there is a list of lessons that can be learned from the Middle East conflicts, especially the three Gulf Wars . Pick two that you think are the most important and describe the particular incident they refer to, how it affected the outcome, and what we learned from it.See the 2 page list link here:
