You hit the jackpot today.  There are two new discussion posts that are very timely for this week.  Real life always gives us a lot of material, and this week is no exception.

First, Jimmy John’s.

Jimmy John’s has done an exceptional job in creating a positioning statement that separates them from the competition.  And they deliver in this in all of their advertising. 

They have also managed to incorporate the P of placement into their advertising as well as the element of sales promotion.  Who wouldn’t want Jimmy John’s to buy a house for you?  And they even deliver this message with a humorous creative strategy.

This is an interesting tv commercial, but I will let you watch it before I say anything else.  Once you watch it, here are a few questions for discussion.
