Discuss: What types of professional boundaries are tested or broken by the characters in the episode? What instances of boundary crossings have you seen in your child life experience, either in yourself or observed in another volunteer, student or staff person? Then reflect on the articles you read for this week .What are your beliefs about professional boundaries and relationships with patients and families? What guidelines will you use to help navigate the complexities of psychosocial care? 

Write a narrative reflection (equivalent to 1-2 page double-spaced) describing your current processing in regards to professional development, learning about ethical issues in the practice of child life, and developing a personal ethical model and philosophy of practice. Students should cite the week's readings or ask open-ended questions they are thinking about in regards to their development as a professional. Respond to at least two peers.
