Week 3 Assignment: Leadership Interviews
For your Week 3 assignment, you will conduct interviews with two respected educational leaders. You have the choice of which you wish to interview, but it is recommended that you interview persons who are highly respected as leaders in your school or district. This may be a principal, a central office supervisor, an athletic director, or a person who fills a position of interest to you. At least one of your interviews should be with a principal. Interviews will typically be 20 minutes in length, and should be scheduled in advance.
Each interview must elicit responses to the questions provided below. You may ask additional questions if you so desire, or follow-up questions to the ones listed. If you ask additional questions, put them at the end of the list. Take detailed notes during your interviews.
For each question, write the responses given by the interviewee. Keep the same order as the questions listed below. If some responses are lengthy, summarize or include highlights of the response. Once you have finished both interviews, write a 500-word reflection on what you learned. Â
In the space below, post responses to each question from your interviews.
