CIS 110 Week 3 Discussion
Surprisingly, all types of code we write follows the following three patterns, sequences, selections, and loops. You can literally develop any application by mixing these patterns together. Watch the video below to learn more about sequences, selections and loops.Â
Â
Up until this week, all the code we have written has is an example of sequence. This week, zyBooks will start teaching us about selections. Next week, we will start learning loops.  I promise you that if you can get through these next couple of weeks, you will be over the hump and experience that mind blown moment.  Â
For this week, let's discuss selections, or branching as zyBooks calls it. Do some research on this and share what you learned with the class. I would like you to talk about boolean expressions. Also, I would like you to explain to me what what comparison operators are.Â
As always, make sure your reply post to another student adds new knowledge to the conversation. You are not the Professor. Therefore, it's not your job to rate their post. Don't just say good job. Our grading assistant will do that when he is filling out the grading reubric. What I am looking for in your response post is something you learned that wasn't mentioned in the post you were responding to. Â
