Now that we know computers execute the programming statements we write in order one after another, let's learn about programming variables. Â
Â
Â
What does it mean to declare a variable?  What is a data type? How do you assign a value to a variable? Are there any special rules you need to follow when coming up with a name for a variable? Your ability to answer these questions is going to demonstrate to me how much you are learning. In your post, prove to me that you have a solid understanding of variables and you will get an A. If your post is too short and doesn't convey to me that you have a good understanding, your grade will reflect that. Therefore, don't be too short in your initial post.Â
For your reply to another student, try to find something you learned that they didn't include in their post. Share it so you can obtain full credit. Simply saying you agree with someone or that they did a good job cannot be the only thing you say when responding to another classmate. Â
