CIS 110 Week 10 Discussion
This week, we take a break from programming concepts and switch gears to web markup languages. Please note, HTML is not a programming language. It's a mark up language. Note to self that if I see HTML and CSS listed as one of your "programming languages" on a resume, I won't hire you. Many others will pass too as this is often a common phone interview question used to screen candidates. Â
At the 2:46 mark in this video, it talks about additional ingredients that go into making a web site. Let's define and discuss HTML. Then, let's define CSS and JavaScript and discuss how they mix in with HTML. Â
Remember, we support learning from sources other than zyBooks. Heck, I just shared a video I found on YouTube myself. Make sure when you share specific text from other sites that you cite your sources and put the copied text in quotes. Â
