Your assignment is to click through 10 items from the SEL LibGuide that are of interest to you, taking notes on what is done and how it might be used in your current or future setting. Be sure to grab the URL of each resource so that you can cite it and return to it. You might also find it helpful to skim the chapters in the Bahman & Maffini (2008) book, available in this week's resources, for ideas that pertain to your age group.

Your assignment is to take the notes you have written this week and incorporate them into an organized action plan format. An outline similar to that provided by Cefai (2009), also available in this week’s resources, may be helpful. As you are thinking, know that you are getting a head start on the Signature Assignment—making a plan for how you will use the information accumulated in this course to become the foundation for the start of SEL in your current or future educational setting.

The action plan format will allow you to incorporate the URLs or descriptions of various ideas you have picked up from Edutopia this week and from various other sources in previous weeks.

Your action plan should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
