CHOOSE A SCENARIO
Choose the scenario you feel will help you learn the most from a discussion on the situation!
1. I have not received my Strayer laptop, but I need to complete a Blackboard graded item to post attendance and avoid falling behind.
2. I’m a new student and don’t know where to start in this course and have no idea how to plan my week.
3. I need to purchase my Soomo Webtext code so that I can complete my work.
ADDRESS THE POINTS
1. Explain the best app or combination of apps needed to address the situation.
2. Explain why you made your choice (e.g. address time constraints, scheduling/planning concerns, logistical concerns, computer access concerns).
3. Expand your post by providing a relevant personal experience that supports the scenario.
ORGANIZE YOUR POST
1. Make sure that you always organize your post into paragraph format with 200+ words.
2. Create a conversational flow (e.g. talking to someone) with a scholarly tone (i.e. no text talk or slang, spell and grammar check always using a tool such as Grammarly, etc.).
NEXT STEPS
1. Respond to a peer's post using their first name.
2. Make sure your peer response is 100+ words and uses a conversational flow with a scholarly tone.
3. The goal of your peer post is to move the conversation forward by substantially responding and possibly asking a follow-up question to further the conversation.
4. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out via email to bonner@strayer.edu for help.
