1. You have a job but want a better job in your upcoming career field today.

2. You have a career, but you are changing your career upon degree completion and would like a job in the new career today.

3. You do not have a job and would like to get a job in your upcoming career field today.

ADDRESS THE POINTS

· Review the catalog description for the course to help you understand the skill sets you are gaining in CIS101 and make notes on the skills you are gaining.

· Explain how the CIS101 skills allow you to plan for your future career today using one of the scenarios and considering:

o Are there skills that you are gaining that should be added to your existing resume or professional profile?

o Do you need to create a resume or professional profile and how will you add the CIS101 skills?

o How will the CIS101 skill sets provide a foundation for other courses in your program?

o How do the CIS101 skill sets provide a foundation for your career?

o How do you believe the CIS101 skill sets translate into practical career skills to help you invest in your future today?

· Discuss the benefits of seeking your future job/career today.

o Are there benefits to waiting until you complete your degree?

ORGANIZE YOUR POST

1. Make sure that you always organize your post into paragraph format with 200+ words.

2. Create a conversational flow (e.g. talking to someone) with a scholarly tone (i.e. no text talk or slang, spell and grammar check always using a tool such as Grammarly, etc.).

NEXT STEPS

1. Respond to a peer's post using their first name.
