CIS 109 Week 11 Discussion
Â
In Week 1, you answered the following question:
Welcome to CIS109 Introduction to Management Information Systems. Please take a moment and introduce yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself, perhaps where you grew up, some details about where you are in your college journey, and your hobbies.
THEN
Describe at least three and up to five personal goals for this class. None of these goals should have anything to do with GPA. Be specific, and make the goals personal to your major, interests and career aspirations. Assume that you are going to evaluate yourself on these goals at the end of this class. The more specific you make the goals, the easier it will be to perform the evaluation.
Goal setting is a process of determining what your goals are, working towards them and assessing whether their goals are met. A prevalent process for setting goals using the SMART acronym, Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Make your goals SMART.
Now it is time to evaluate yourself. Look back at your response in Week 1. Copy and paste your response here and then rate yourself on how well you did meeting the desired goals. How did you do on your goals? Which goals did you meet and which did you not? Are you surprised by the result? Why or why not?
Feel free to include any other thoughts on how you did in the course. Just keep it professional.
