Despite extensive efforts to remain competitive, your organization experienced a significant loss of revenue in the last fiscal year. After analyzing, forecasting, and discussing the related factors with your leadership team and board of directors, you have determined that your organization must be restructured to accommodate a smaller operating budget. While this change is in the best interest of the organization, it will also have substantial implications. As an initial step, you must devise a plan for reducing your total workforce by a minimum of 20%.

 

You must leverage your knowledge and experience to conceptualize a detailed decision-making strategy for this scenario. Your strategy must also be supported with evidence from the scholarly literature. Consider the following questions as you develop your assignment:
