Position vs Time

The graph shows a small portion of a data run to diagnose a faulty drive shaft that develops a ‘wobble’ as it is rotated. The shaft is rotated at a fixed frequency and a periodic oscillation develops that causes the shaft to move perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
