Overview
You are the CEO of a healthcare organization. The patient satisfaction data, as measured by the Press-Ganey survey, shows most patients who have received care at your organization would not recommend the facility to friends and family, and the overall rating of the organization by patients is mediocre at best. Your top focus currently in your role as CEO is to build a superior patient experience. Things must change.
Instructions
Based on your reading of the Service Fanatics textbook, including the best practices shared in the book, along with any additional research you wish to conduct, draft a 2-to-3-page Executive Memo. While you will address the memo document to your professor, keep in mind that this message will be distributed to all staff in your organization.
Your Memo should include the following sections:
1. Clear and concise outline of the strategy for improving the patient experience
2. Tactics or actions to be used to drive change
3. Description of what is expected in terms of staff participation in putting “Patients First” and calling the team to action
4. A statement about how success will be measured
