Each week of this course you will work on parts of your Week 5 final paper. In Week 2 you will begin by writing two paragraphs of your essay. These will be based on the research you have completed about your topic in this week’s Scholarly Versus Popular Sources discussion forum. You will add more to your paper each week as we move forward. By Week 5 you will have completed a five-paragraph essay.

Use two articles that you found in Week 2 Discussion 1 to answer two of your research questions from the Week 1 Choose Your Research Topic discussion forum. Do not worry about in-text citations and references now; instead, use the sources you found in Week 2 Discussion 1 to respond to two of the questions you drafted in the Choose Your Research Topic discussion forum in Week 1. At this point you will not start the introduction, the conclusion, or the third research question section of the template.

 

Address the following in your paper:

• Begin your APA-formatted essay using the APA-formatted GEN 103 APA Essay Template to complete your assignment.
• Your topic. State the topic that you are writing about on the title page by using it as the title. (Hint: Use your information from the Week 1 Choose Your Research Topic discussion forum for this.)
• Research Question/Subtopic 1. Use the PIE methodLinks to an external site. to introduce Research Question/Subtopic 1 and answer the research question you developed in the Week 1 Choose Your Research Topic discussion forum using the scholarly or popular source you chose in the Week 2 Discussion.
