Your first task is to introduce yourself to your instructor and peers by Day 1 (Tuesday). This forum provides a fantastic opportunity for you and your peers to get to know each other. There are two parts to this learning activity:

1. Use the prompts as a guide to write your personal introduction. Be sure to address all the prompts (including the interpretation of one of the quotes). 
2. Reply to at least three of your classmates by answering the two Guided Response prompts.

Use the introduction forum to make friends and connect with peers with similar majors or life experiences. Making your responses thoughtful and reflective will encourage your classmates to engage in an ongoing conversation. Address the prompts provided when writing your response to your classmates. Remember to select Reply within the post to which you are replying. Always identify the person to whom you are responding. 

Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 1 (Tuesday), and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses. Refer to the Discussion Forum Grading Rubric under the Setting icon for guidance on how your discussion will be evaluated.
