Think about what you want to accomplish as a college student as you craft an academic SMART goal. While earning credits and getting good grades is important, so is the act of learning and applying your learning in meaningful ways. You can still set a professional SMART goal even if you’re not currently working in your dream profession. In fact, that’s why it’s important to set goals now. If you’re not sure what you want to do professionally, consider crafting a goal related to employee skills, such as work ethic and time management.
