following:

a. Explain the datatype in a few sentences – the set of legal values allowed by the

datatype, the syntax of specifying the maximum size allowed for the column, and

what the size limitation means for that particular datatype.

b. Create a table with a name of your choosing that has just one column, and give the

column the datatype you identified along with a size limitation of your choosing.

c. Attempt to insert a value that exceeds the size limitation on the column and see

what error message your DBMS gives you.
