2.  Informational Interview

            Conduct an informational interview with a professional in a field that you are interested in learning more             about. Write a 6-7 page (double-spaced) synopsis of your meeting and what you learned. Please use the             handout, that I provided on informational interviewing, and ask your interviewee the questions listed.(attached)  If     you have other questions that you would like to ask instead of the ones provided, please do so, but the   number of questions must be the same.   Write a closing paragraph analyzing how meeting the          professional helped clarify your career goals in some way.

Dr. Godes is a licensed clinical psychologist. She obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree at University of La Verne after her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has worked with child, adolescent, adult, and older adult clients in a range of clinical setting including outpatient and inpatient hospital, private practice, and university counseling centers. While she works with a wide array of clinical problems, she specializes in working with adolescents, personality disorders, and severe mental illness. In addition to her clinical work, she provides clinical supervision to doctoral level therapists in training and psychological assessment services. She currently resides in Orange County with her family.
