  • hello i need help can someone help me? First, explain what Ernest Hogan means by "Chicano is a sci-fi state of being" and compare/contrast that understanding to the Anzaldúa quote above.
  • Next, use either Anzaldúa or Hogan's theories regarding alienness or sci-fit as a lens through which to read Laura Molina's "Amor Alien." Use the strategies for close reading texts to first conduct a formal reading of the piece and then apply the theoretical lens of your choice to it.
  • Finally, considering that "Amor Alien" is a parody of Jesus Helgüera's "Amor Indio" (see above) and that Guillermo Gómez-Peña incorporates Aztec themes into his sci-fi radio show, explain the relationship of indigeneity to science fiction.
